This is a courtesy translation. These terms are governed by Mexican law and set the jurisdiction below as Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, regardless of where you access this site from. The Spanish-language version is the legally binding original; in the event of any conflict or inconsistency between the two, the Spanish text prevails.

These terms govern the use of infosecdash.com (referred to below as "the site"), operated by FIXTEAM, S.A. de C.V., registered at Belisario Dominguez No 2116 No Int L 34 INT 5. Las Arboledas, Tuxtla Gutierrez, Chiapas, Mexico 29030. By using the site you accept what follows. If you disagree with any part of it, the reasonable thing is not to use it.

1. What this service is

InfoSecDash publishes cybersecurity news summaries, generated automatically with artificial intelligence from the public RSS feeds of specialized outlets — originally in Spanish, with this English edition built on the same content. Access to the site is free and requires no registration. The only service that asks for data is the voluntary newsletter subscription, governed by our privacy notice.

2. Limitation of liability — read this, it matters

The site's content is informational and advisory. It is not professional IT security advice, legal advice, or any other kind, and it does not replace the judgment of a specialist who knows your specific infrastructure.

We say this with particular emphasis because the site is published by a company that does provide IT security services: reading a report here is not the same as a consultation, and the "Defense Path" sections are general recommendations, not an action plan for your organization.

And, plainly: the summaries are written by a language model and can contain errors. It can get a fact wrong, misread a source, or misassign a severity score. That's why every report always links to the original article — before making any decision with real consequences, verify it at the source. If you spot an error, let us know: our corrections policy commits to reviewing it within a maximum of five business days.

The site is provided "as is," with no guarantee of continuous availability, accuracy, or fitness for a particular purpose. FIXTEAM, S.A. de C.V. is not liable for damages arising from the use, or the inability to use, the site, nor for decisions made based on its content.

3. What you can do with our content

The summaries, headlines, and text on this site are original work and are protected by copyright. That said, we'd rather tell you what you can do than just list prohibitions:

  • Quote short excerpts in articles, presentations, internal newsletters, or social media, always with attribution to InfoSecDash and a link to the original report.
  • Share links freely, without asking permission.
  • Consume our RSS feed when available, and integrate it into readers, aggregators, or your own tools.
  • Use the information — the facts we report — for your own work. Facts belong to no one.

What we ask you not to do:

  • Republish full summaries as if they were your own content, with or without attribution.
  • Systematically or automatically scrape the site to build a mirror.
  • Remove the attributions to original outlets that accompany every report.

This is exactly the same request we make of the outlets we summarize: your own summary, visible attribution, and a link to the source. We ask for what we offer.

4. RSS feed and automated access

Once we publish our RSS feed, doing so is an explicit invitation to consume it. Crawling or reading it with automated tools is allowed, with two common-sense requests: identify yourself with an honest User-Agent, and keep a reasonable pace between requests. That's exactly what our own crawler does with the sites it visits, as described on the crawler page.

We reserve the right to block automated access that degrades the service for others.

5. Training of artificial intelligence models

This site is open to training artificial intelligence models. We don't block AI crawlers in our robots.txt, and we don't intend to.

This position is also declared in a machine-readable way, under the W3C's TDM Reservation Protocol, at /.well-known/tdmrep.json with the value tdm-reservation: 0 — meaning we reserve no mining rights. That protocol is the one recognized by Article 4 of EU Directive 2019/790 and the AI Act, unlike robots.txt, which is only a convention.

Consistency demands it: this site exists thanks to language models, and it would be hard to justify using them ourselves while shutting the door on whoever builds them. The only condition we ask is that, when the system allows it, the source be cited. We know that condition isn't enforceable in practice today and that most models don't attribute; we're writing it down anyway, because it's what we believe is right, and because we'd rather state our position than stay silent about it.

6. Prohibited conduct

By using the site, you agree not to:

  • Attempt to access restricted areas, other people's accounts, or internal systems.
  • Interfere with the service's operation, for example through mass or automated requests intended to overload it.
  • Use the forms to send illegal content, spam, or impersonate another person.
  • Subscribe email addresses that don't belong to you to the newsletter.

If you find a vulnerability on the site, don't exploit it: report it. We have a responsible disclosure policy that explains how to do that and what we guarantee you in return.

7. Links and third-party content

The site links to articles from outside outlets, to official catalogs like the NVD and CISA, and to photographs from Unsplash. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. A link doesn't imply endorsement.

8. Advertising

The site shows ad spaces, visibly labeled with the word "Advertisement." The conditions under which ads are accepted, and the current status of those spaces, are in section 5 of the editorial policy. Any commercial relationship you enter into with an advertiser is between the two of you; we are not a party to it.

9. Minors

InfoSecDash is intended for adults. Newsletter subscription requires being at least 18 years old. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors; if you are a parent or guardian and find that a minor in your care has registered, write to us and we'll remove them immediately.

Whenever we publish material about child safety, it will be written for parents, guardians, and teachers — adults responsible for a minor — not directed at children themselves.

10. Availability and changes

We do our best to keep the site available, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted operation: there may be maintenance, failures, or interruptions from our infrastructure providers. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service.

These terms may change. When a change is substantive, the date in the header will be updated. They are not modified retroactively to justify something that already happened.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Mexican States. For any dispute, the parties submit to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas, waiving any other jurisdiction that might otherwise apply to them.
